RULES OF BEHAVIOR AT FACULTY OF ECONOMICS UNIVERSITY OF KRAGUJEVAC
Behavior at class
All students must sit still and in silence during class. The professors will explain to you at the beginning of the year whether it is possible to leave the class while the lecture is in progress and whether it is necessary to call in on that occasion. Mobile phones must be set to silent. The use of mobile phones, unauthorized recording of the lesson or interruption of the lesson for any reason is not allowed. A student speaks in class only when renewing material or after asking for a permission by raising his hand.
Tolerance
Our faculty is a multicultural environment. It is attended by students of different nationalities and religions and all have equal treatment by the staff and the right to be different. Discrimination on any basis is strictly prohibited. Nationality, religion and politics are generally topics that should be avoided in conversation between students, and between students and staff. All students will have the opportunity to present the history, geography and culture of their country at least once during the year. Learning about the culture of other countries helps to overcome differences and prevent divisions. All students must respect the ones who come from other countries, in order to gain respect themselves.
Our faculty will have zero tolerance for violence. Violence, verbal and physical, will be sanctioned immediately and strictly. In case of any form of violence fueled by national or religious intolerance, the faculty will immediately inform the police and invite them to intervene. We remind you that, regardless of whether you have an approved visa or residence permit, the faculty can always ask the police to cancel them.
Behavior in and outside of the building
Outside of class time, students are invited to study in the reading room, use the coworking space in the library or in the faculty corridors, or simply go to a cafe and relax with a favorite drink. In any case, unnecessary noise, shouting and playing loud music are prohibited. The same applies to behavior outside the building around the faculty. The city is full of activities for young people, so students are encouraged to spend their free time there. If they want to stay longer at the faculty, they must respect the working hours of the reading room and the faculty in general as an institution. Staying at night is not possible even in the case of studying.
